Cypress Truck Lines, a leader in flatbed trucking since 1972, is excited to announce the largest pay increase in the company’s history.

In its continued effort to reward and retain the best drivers, Cypress has rolled out new pay scales for both OTR and Regional CDL-A Drivers, offering some of the most competitive rates in the industry. Additionally, unlike many other companies, Cypress drivers are paid the same rate for every mile—both loaded and empty, ensuring that our drivers maximize their earnings on every run.

New Pay Scales for OTR and Regional CDL-A Drivers

As part of this major pay increase, Cypress Truck Lines is now offering the following pay rates:

OTR (over-the-road) Pay Scale

Drivers who are home every other weekend will earn:

  • 5+ years of experience: $0.62/mile
  • 4 years of experience: $0.61/mile
  • 3 years of experience: $0.60/mile
  • 2 years of experience: $0.59/mile
  • 1 year of experience: $0.58/mile
  • 0-12 months of experience: $0.54/mile

Regional Pay Scale

For Regional drivers who are home every weekend, the pay is:

  • 5+ years of experience: $0.60/mile
  • 4 years of experience: $0.59/mile
  • 3 years of experience: $0.58/mile
  • 2 years of experience: $0.57/mile
  • 1 year of experience: $0.56/mile
  • 0-12 months of experience: $0.52/mile

“We’re thrilled to launch the largest pay increase in Cypress Truck Lines’ history,” said Thad Penland. “This pay scale reflects our commitment to recognizing and compensating our drivers for the critical work they do. What sets Cypress apart is that our drivers earn the same pay per mile whether they are loaded or empty, meaning they maximize their earnings on every mile they drive.”
