Cypress Truck Lines is urgently looking to hire several CDL Yard Jockey Drivers for first, second, and third shifts in Jacksonville, FL. We’re hiring immediately and offering competitive pay!
We are looking for dedicated Full Time Yard Jockey / Spotters for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Your main duties will include connecting and disconnecting trailers, positioning them for loading, and securing loads with tarps for drivers to pick up.
This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, offering excellent benefits and a retirement package. While experience in the flatbed industry is preferred, it is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for safely moving trailers in and out of dock doors, positioning equipment, and ensuring trailers are properly secured. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure the smooth flow of trailers within our yard.
- Safely move trailers between dock doors and staging areas
- Inspect trailers for proper functioning, securing loads as needed
- Perform basic yard and vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all safety and company policies

Qualifications
- 0-6 Months Experience
- Valid CDL-A License
- Must Be 21 years Of Age
- No DUI In Last 10 Years
- No Felony’s In The Last 7 Years
- Clean MVR/No More Than 3 Violations In 5 Years
