Cypress Truck Lines is seeking skilled and dedicated CDL-A Yard Jockey in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time position. As a Yard Jockey, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our yard.

Responsibilities

Trailer Management: Safely hook and unhook trailers, moving them within the yard for loading and unloading.
Load Securing: Assist in securing loads with tarps and ensuring that they are properly balanced and safe for transport.
Equipment Operation: Operate yard tractors and other equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in excellent working condition.
Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers and drivers, providing exceptional service and representing Cypress Truck Lines professionally.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of trailer movements and any inspections performed.
